Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are you seeing individuals remotely?
    Yes, I am currently seeing patients using a secure HIPAA compliant video platform in order for patients to engage in treatment from the comfort of their home or office. Patients should be in a quiet, private (and non-mobile) space for appointments.
  • Do you accept insurance?
    I am currently in network for United, Oxford, Oscar and Aetna. I am not in-network for any other carriers. “Superbills” can be provided to individuals with out of network benefits to those who wish to submit a claim to insurance.
  • What can I expect at my first appointment?
    Your initial appointment will typically last for anywhere between 45 and 90 minutes. During this session I will complete a thorough assessment of your history, your current symptoms, and your treatment goals. Medication may or may not be recommended. Psychotherapy may also be recommended. I may also suggest a higher level of care if telemedicine does not appear to be the right fit for you.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Initial appointments should be canceled prior to 48 hours or individuals will be charged the full evaluation fee. Follow ups are subject to half of the fee if canceled less than 48 hours in advance.
